Welcome to The Fox's Den

Every man needs a place of his own!

Right.

Get out of here! NO PEPPER ALLOWED!

I always knew that I would be a traveling man, from the day I was born. I was born in the shadow of a volcano to a litter of GIRLS!!! I was the only boy. The lady who welped us must have liked us because she was very good with us. We were well taken care of and were very happy. But I used to dream of far places and sometimes my dreams had a woman and man who I had never seen in them. One day, the lady told the man that someone had contacted her about me and wanted to buy me. They lived far away, and could not come to get me. I was not old enough to travel, quite yet, so we would see. I told my litter mate sister that I was going to fly away like a bird to a wonderful new land where things were different and I would have a human mom and dad. She bit me on the rump! I had to be sewn up! Boy was I mad. After what seemed like a long time, the lady put me in a travel crate and took me to the vet. I got a shot and she got a paper that told about my health. It was a government requirement or something. That night she told the man everything was ready. She had my ticket and I was bought and paid for and would be flying to someplace far away.

ACROSS THE COUNTRY! Boy, was my litter mate mad.

The big day came and the lady put me in my travel crate. She put food and water and schreaded paper it it too. Boy do I like to shread paper! She drove for a long time and when we finally stopped, we went into a huge building. Millions and millions of people were there. She got me out of my travel crate and everyone thought I was a hansome boy! (What an ego!)OUT! OUT! OUT!

They put me into the belly of a big silver bird, but I was not afraid, for I am The Fox. The bird began to roar. Then we began to move. Soon, I had a snack and went to sleep. I awoke when the bird landed and a man took me, in my crate to a room where it was cool. I ate my lunch. Then they put me back in the bird's belly and off we went.

After having a snack, I slept again. I woke up when the bird was landing and got really mad!

This is no way to treat The Fox! I had to wait until luggage was loaded into the first cart. I barked and barked!

(Inside the terminal a man and woman were waiting. The woman heard the barking and ran to the ticket desk. The lady behind the desk brought out a travel crate. Loud barking was comming from the crate.)

I was not pleased! They carried my crate in to a building and turned it around. There, looking at me was the man and woman that I had seen in my dream. I was so happy I could not bark any more.(Thank God for peace and quiet!) YOU ARE BARRED FROM THE DEN!!!!

They took me to their car and took me out of the crate. I kissed them and they cleaned my feet. Then they took me home.

Things have changed, here, in The Fox Den. I, The Fox, have been doing many new things, and, I have a new name!

I am now, officially, U-CD CH Marquest Endeavor Foxfire, CGC, NA, CL1-R. U-CD is my UKC Companion Dog title, CH is my breed championship, CGC means I'm a Canine Good Citizen, NA stands for my novice agility title, and CL1-R is my CPE level one standard agility title.

Other than that, nothing has changed. I am still The Fox, and I love my mom.
